The health and safety of our students, staff, and community has been and will remain at the center of our planning and decision making.
The District continues to follow criteria put forth by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and the Center for Disease Control mandates, as well as, manufacturer recommendations and requirements on cleaning and disinfecting during outbreaks of infectious diseases. The District custodial crews continue to ensure that all classroom spaces, restrooms, common spaces, and workspaces (including but not limited to desks, doorknobs, light switches, faucets, and other high touch fixtures) are cleaned and disinfected daily. Hand sanitizers are being installed Districtwide.
The Facilities Planning and Construction Department, in concert with the Maintenance and Operations Department, has been conducting an analysis of each school to determine the capacity of students in all classrooms, based on social distancing guidelines.
